Northern Michigan Wine Dinner with Bos Wines and Chef Randy Minish of Bellaire's Terrain
This Northern Michigan food and wine love letter is just the kind of unmitigated brilliance we all need in our lives right now. David Bos of Elk Rapids-based Bos Wines makes a hotly anticipated return to Frame, this time bringing Chef Randy Minish of Bellaire’s Terrain to take control of the Frame kitchen with an extraordinary menu built on meticulousness precision, and celebrating Northern Michigan’s vibrant and growing agricultural community.
David and Randy — here for a good time, not a long time — are in town together for just one night, sourcing as many ingredients as possible from the north’s fertile region (i.e. the “terrain”).
We’re talking Leelanau cheese raclette, smoked whitefish pate en croute with local bacon and Bee Well cider gelee, and apple tart with heirloom apples and Black Star Farms apple brandy.
Add to this Bos’ best-in-class Michigan wines, hints of modern December festive touches, and perhaps we’ve just planned that night out with a few friends you’ve been meaning to wine and dine.
