From the team behind Chef Eve Aronoff’s wildly tasty Frita Batidos, we can hardly wait to preview Eve’s hotly anticipated Cuban brunch at Frame. Frita typifies everything we crave about Cuban culture and Cuban street food. And nothing quite like this menu fuels Eve’s two greatest passions — the desire to create something truly special through the merging of the highest standards and attention to detail with the warmth and conviviality of feeding the people she loves.
Eve grew up spending time in Miami with her grandmother, where Latino culture became a major influence in her style of cooking. Her love for the culinary traditions and the spirit of the culture grew as she became excited by the melting pot of significant migrant communities that surrounded her, including Chinese, Spanish, Creole, and African.
Savoring every opportunity to learn from these diverse cultures, Eve took this knowledge as a starting point, and, needless to say, her imagination has gone wild in the best sort of way.
Join us as her team takes over the Frame kitchen for one boozy October Sunday morning with an epic brunch built on shared platters for four. We can’t wait for it all, but especially the breakfast medianoches with avocado, comté, chiles, and quail’s egg; the chilaquiles; the tropical bread pudding; and the miniature churros (oh my!).
Because we’ll add in chocolate Español and Frita margaritas with lots of fresh-squeezed citrus juice.
