Frame's WINE+FARMERS Market & farmBAR Brunch
On June 11th, we’re going all out for the farm at Frame — celebrating Michigan’s small-scale farmers and Michigan winemakers — rooted by doing what we do best: hosting the hands that feed us in our mixed-use spaces while continuing our core mission of building Michigan food connections.
Our bustling WINE+FARMERS Market is our kind of farm stand goes heavy on the swirling and sipping. Grab a most stylish tote from Detroit artist Anna Davenport of Spaces Rendered and shop from : winemakers from the likes of BOS Wine, 2 Lads Winery + Modales Wines; Marrow Detroit Provisions, for ethically sourced meats; Detroit’s Fisheye Farms for just-picked farm produce; Hillside Hearth for crunchy fresh-baked loaves ; farm-fished baked goods from Ann Arbor’s Beara Bakes; and wildly delish jams from Gus and Grey stacked with ingredients derived from Midwestern soil.
Set time aside for casual interactive and informal walk-up seminars as we’re putting our most beloved Michigan winemakers front-and-center as they travel to be with us for an afternoon wine-tasting experience.
Plus a not-to-miss Sunday farmBAR Brunch before-or-after you ” market” by Grand Rapids Chef Evan Scott Edwards as we open our al-fresco patio at FRAMEbar, dripping with the abundance of the farm.
Think : Asparagus Benedict with Brown Butter Hollandaise; Bread Pudding Filled with Strawberries and Rhubarb Syrup and Thin Crepes laden with fresh fruit and coconut whipped cream….
And a full-farm-house bar takeover worth-the-stop alone. Farmhouse flips with locally sourced eggs and house “Angostura” bitters; Left Foot Charley hard ciders; Black Star Farms Sur-Lie Chardonnay “Arcturos” Old Mission Peninsula 2021 by the glass-or-bottle and on-and-on.
Mark your calendars as on Sunday June 11th, we’re celebrating Michigan agriculture with Taste the Local Difference as Michigan farmers, vintners, and bakers are coming to Frame to share their passions
( and help us put copius amounts of tasty things in our mouths!)
