Distinguished for its vibrant flavors, Ethiopian cuisine could seem difficult to replicate at home.
Unless, of course, Helina Melaku of Konjo Me is your instructor.
In this two-hour Frame (Academy) workshop, Helina guides us through how to create her two favorite authentic Ethiopian dishes for your fall dinner table.
Explore: Misir Wot (red lentil stew) and Ethiopian Chicken Tibs with East African spices.

Learn how to use an exclusive berbere seasoning that comes from Ethiopia, as well as working with Mitmita, laden with the fiery heat of African bird’s eye chilies.

Eat a little. Learn a lot. Spend an intimate evening cooking hands-on with Helina in Frame’s open kitchen.
Soak it all in, and then take the fruits of your labor and newfound skills home to practice and perfect for your next dinner party.

This late September workshop includes all materials and is limited to 24 students.

Looking to make a full night of it … book in your spot for drinks and snacks before or after class at our stylish sister spot, FRAMEbar.
