An Alice in Wonderland Easter Weekend with Chef Allie Lyttle
Things are getting curiouser and curiouser at Frame this April.
Follow us down the rabbit hole for an unforgettable Easter weekend dinner and brunch with Chef Allie Lyttle of Brighton’s Lala’s Too. Formerly the executive chef at The Standard Bistro & Larder in Ann Arbor and Detroit’s Parks & Rec diner and BonBonBon before that, Chef Allie will transport you to the whimsical world of Frame’s own Wonderland to indulge in a fanciful meal inspired by the beloved Lewis Carroll classic.
Enter: “Allie in Wonderland,” where the food is just as playful as the theme, transforming the Frame Pavilion into Alice’s Garden Greenhouse.
On the “Eat Me” side, we’ll nosh on seared scallops with ramp jam and savory macarons, brown butter mushroom bisque served in a teapot and teacups, a Cheshire Cat-inspired shaved candy-cane beet salad, braised short ribs with pimento cheese grits, and a “Queen of Hearts” malted tart with Cadbury mini-egg semifreddo for dessert. Sheesh!
The adventure continues with Sunday Easter brunch, complete with teeny tiny short-stack ricotta pancakes with lemon curd, smoked salmon crumpets, short rib hash, and hot cross bun donuts with pickled raspberry jam.

As for “Drink Me,” Frame’s resident sommelier Sean Crenny and mixtress Jaz’min Weaver have partnered up for an equally whimsical wine and cocktail pairing that’ll have you peering through the looking glass in no time. Plus, a la carte beer, wine, and zero-proof cocktails for all!
